#5 Bombers Roll Past Drew to Remain Unbeaten

San Diego, Calif. – The fifth-ranked Bombers (5-0) posted their fifth win in as many tries, topping Drew 21-10 Wednesday. A total of 16 players recorded either a goal or an assist.

Sophomore Nick Neuman (Madison West/Madison, Wis.) scored the first two goals of his career and freshman Nick Powers (Bridgewater-Raritan/Bridgewater, N.J.) scored his first collegiate goal.

Freshman Matt Molnar (Central Bucks East/Doylestown, Pa.) and Anthony Van Langen (Torrey Pines/Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) both picked up their first career point.

Seniors Matt Nelligan (Pingree School/Rowley, Mass.) and Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/Centennial, Colo.) led Ithaca with three goals each; Nelligan contributed three assists and Bobzien added two.

Senior Craig Lepiane (West Irondequoit/Rochester) picked up two goals and two assists and Matt Cutter (Needham/Needham, Mass.) posted career-best totals of two goals and three points.

Senior Mike Nowak (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa), junior Tim Pfeffer (Penfield/Penfield) and freshman Michael Silipo (Williston Northampton/Deerfield, Mass.) each scored a pair of goals.
 
Junior Collin Meadow (Downington East/Downington, Pa.) made a career-high six saves and earned his first career victory.
 
The Bombers open Empire 8 play Wednesday, traveling to Alfred for a 4 p.m. game. Ithaca has won a conference-record 23 straight league games.
